Regular Meetings

We meet at First Covenant Church in Cadillac, Michigan (the corner of Pine and Park Streets - click here for a map) on the third Thursday of every month starting at 9:00 a.m. The morning is usually spent working on our “Quilts-for-Kids”. Sometimes we have a special project that we work on as a group. Lunch is your choice (some brown-bag-it, others order in, and others go out). The business meeting starts at approximately 1:00 p.m. and lasts until about 2:30 or 3:00 p.m. During the business meeting we also have a time for Show-and-Tell and “problem” solving (we try to help if you are stuck on what to do with a project that is just not working out as you planned). Annual Meeting

Our annual meetings are held on our normal meeting date and time in August. The morning workshop is still held and the lunch is a potluck on that day.

Small Group

A few members meet from 9:00 to ??? at the Covenant Church on the first Thursday of each month. This group is very informal and changes monthly. We don’t always do quilting at these meetings and sometimes we work on what is in the storage room. Just come join us!

Book Club

We have recently started a book club to discuss Jennifer Chiaverini's series of quilting related fiction known as the Elmcreek series. It meets the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm at Julie Ann's Quilt Shop in Cadillac. Please come join us. We are hoping that in 2012 we will have a category in our show featuring quilts from her books.
